The nice ambience, hearty food and great coffee alone would all be reason enough to come back. But it is the super-friendly and informative service that makes this place a true gem! If we ever come back to Poznań, Umami will be on our itinerary again. Dziękuję bardzo!

Umami: wonderful place, effervescent atmosphere and people. The owner, Martin, is a very kind-hearted individual, with a ranging sense of humor, and will accommodate to your needs food wise. Umami offers a great brunch and lunch menu for a nice light bite. The beef bowl was very tasty, but the beef bao is a must: full of flavor and extremely juicy! Locals love this place and if you are an English speaker, you feel very welcomed and treated like a local! Be ready for a Polaroid because Martin will absolutely welcome you to add to his wall of photos. 10/10 highly recommend. Much love from Kendra & Daniel. Thank you Martin!

Delicious set lunch (soup and lasagne- changes daily). Whole menu looked fresh and interesting. Winter tea was lovely. Would certainly return. Lively but no wait on Wednesday lunchtime.
